We were having so much fun, Rocky lost his head.
Tuesday night's sunset was the first sunset the crew had ever seen "all the way down," as Terrilynn put it.
By Friday, all the kids were here. Brooke and her beloved David drove up Thursday night. Equipped with all day passes, the Bodzers got their money's worth at Waldameer. Terry and I caught up with them just long enough watch Brooke, Leah, David and Brittney ride the Tilt-a-Wheel and catch a show.
Saturday, yesterday as I write this, my brother Marty and his lovely wife Lisa let us use their summer cottage for the day. I got to cook up a storm in an unfamiliar kitchen, which is awesome fun for me. I had a lull between cooking fury. I took my camera with me on break. Do you see the couple below? They were standing alone on the end of a pier, grooving on the waves breaking at their feet. He lifted her in a backwards hug to keep her feet from getting wet.
Get ready to lick your chops. I made meatloaf, fresh green beans, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and Nanny's Macaroni and cheese. Nan's Mac and Cheese is unique, baked with onions, bacon and ketchup. I'll never eat it again, but I got to smell it cooking and watch it disappear.
