Yes, boys and girls, after years of research, I have concluded that eating well is essential to good health. So how come no one out there is running around crying, "Stop the Presses!" | Oh, heh, I guess it's because Captain Obvious has struck again. Well, it's still worth saying out loud. As a Teacher, I am seldom surprised at what needs to be said and how often it needs to be said for all to hear. |
I just found out, remember, that the cute Lindsey Chick's digestive system seems to work very well up until that l-a-s-t few moment. Colitis. When I started researching this particular disruption to the digestive system, I was faced first with lists of foods to avoid. That kind of thing drives me nuts, short drive, I know. My fervent prayer that the positive will be presented first as a standard operation. "Looky-lou all the good things you can do!" Then, and only then, bring up stuff that would be hard to do.
So, I was looking into digestion again with colitis, lyme disease, celiac and even gout (why not?) Yogurt stands across the board as something everyone should eat every day. Sweeping generalization, I know, but I believe this "Never say Always" statement as fact. | We can play along all we want to with someone who is highly allergic to yogurt, or someone who could conceivably have too much good bacteria so more isn't better. By and large, death by yogurt statistically isn't happening. |
Gawd! Maybe I really am a geek. Am I the only one who thinks it's funny that studies show yogurt is easy to digest? A food that hosts bacteria that aids digestion is, uh, easy to uh, digest. Naw, c'mon, really?
