Figured out Wednesday night was really our fourth date, but call me a sensationalist. We started out downtown getting Terry's lovely locks cut. He also got his beard trimmed. We went to Toni & Guys. They did an excellent job, but I didn't realize it would take most of two hours.
No complaints. I just took my little black and white out in the sun. Met a woman while we were looking through a gallery window. We agreed it should be open. We ended up exploring the building from the third floor to the basement. About three hours later, Terry and I went to the Thrifty Shopper and, by Jingo, the woman works there. Her name is Ginny. I mean to take her some chocolate and a photo of a tall ship or two. I met another soul while my husband was becoming gorgeous. His name is Chris. We got to talking and he told me when he was little, his mom told him a penny was for his thoughts. When Chris sees a penny on the ground, he doesn't pick it up. Instead he flips it over, sending his thoughts on. |
Our big date was Blue Man Group at the Warner. We've been wanting to see them for ten years after seeing them as a fund raiser for PBS. They were so cool, we bought the CD. Before we moved to Erie, we lived in a mobile home in Worthington, PA. One night I came home after work to find our home ROCKIN'! Terry was inside with my neighbor Treesey and her two kids, Chance and Jenna. They had Blue Man cranked. I rushed into the kitchen and pulled out pots, pans, lids, anything that could make noise. We clanged, sang, danced, shouted, laughed. One of the best homecomings I've ever had.
