It is my nature to think I need to bring all the world to a Captain Obvious view. It fits with my tirades about common sense. I'm not ashamed to lack in the common misnomer of sense, however exasperating this may be to my loved ones. The way I figure, inventing the wheel is the easy part. Putting it into a thousand and one common usages is a whole 'nuther thing. That takes at least a thousand and one more ideas.
Spaghetti Squash Lasagna. I made a sauce with a nod to both Gramma and Terry. She's not very fond of oregano and he's not fond of garlic. Infused oil with rosemary before I introduced onion. Stayed on the sweeter path of rosemary and basil, with just a nod toward the bolder flavors of oregano and garlic. Before anyone points out the merits of roasted garlic, lemme just say I have to use what I have. Kind of a rule with me. What I have is a jar full of minced garlic.
Gramma wanted to know what kind of cheese I used. "Parmesan, goat, cottage, feta and mozzarella."
Yup, ahhh, this is me re-inventing the wheel in the form of gluten free.
