My husband and I moved in with my gramma the first of September in 2012. I've been carving our niche in some of the under-utilized areas. Terry's and my main indoor living area is in the basement. I finally made my decision about this corner. I'd been going back and forth--coulda/woulda/shoulda--between making this corner 'my' kitchen, including a gas stove, or, well, or what you see here.
Next on my DUN! agenda is this: regard the Kool-aid pitcher. $1 at the Dollar Tree. I splurged and bought two. I keep a measuring cup in my sugar canister, so making Kool-aid will be a cinch. Terry is drinking a twelve pack of pop in three days. This should slow him down some. Maybe he'll even make some. Finally, observe. . . Looks almost like homemade ham salad and crackers, doesn't it? It's half that--Gramma made the ham salad last night. The 'chips' are a new product from Nabisco. Rice Thins! While I was working on this blog, I snacked on crackers. Never thought I'd eat that any time soon, but now itsdun! |
