Living the dream.
My dream is to eat well, garden, and give away photographs.
My husband, my favorite blessing, has fully supported this dream.
Welcome to the culmination of my dreams.

Welcome to the culmination of my dreams.
Thank you in advance for sharing your time. My name is Marion and my handsome husband's name is Terry. We had a whirlwind love at first sight romance and have been solidly married for fourteen years. We've steadily changed our lifestyle to living as slow and as green as we can afford. This website is a way of expressing the dream. We do most of our shopping at Walmart and Aldi's, but I buy from local farmers, too. We grow a few tomatoes and strawberries. I also cook with my lavender all year long. My idea of eating well is tied into eating slow. When I compose a recipe, the key notes are seasonal.
Terry and I moved in with my ninety-three year old grandmother over a year ago. We celebrated with a cake that said, 'One year. No bloodshed.' I believe in using what you have. Gram believes in saving what you have. There-in lies a philosophical clash that has made me define my believes in order to spare the bloodshed. I am big on use as storage: storage as use. Keeping things out of the landfill is an area where Gram and I overlap amicably. See that cabinet behind my shoulder? Gram and I picked it up one Sunday when we went 'trawling for trash.'
Integrating these two households this past year has made me realize how much more satisfying the 'Done' list is compared to the 'To Do' list.
