My Baby, the Nikon, is my world of color. I used my first digital camera basically as a point and shoot with really good technology. I learned a lot with that good little camera, but little is the operative word. I'd grown out of it because it is too lightweight.
Some of the stuff here is older work. Recently, though, I am forcing myself to learn to see horizontal shots. In the black and white world I can hold the camera any old way I want, but when I emerge into color, I want to quit taking comfort in the easy vertical shots. No lie, right now if I turn the Baby sideways, it means I'm nervous. Retreating is not going to be my style.
