I visited Mason and Ava the other day. The two of them made up a new game. They ran towards my open arms, shouting my name, racing to see who could hug me first. Great game since I got all the hugs and didn't have to move from my lawn chair.
Surrounded by a lovely garden, Gramma did what she loves to do. She deadheaded flowers. Only Gram.
She also played with the resident cats. Gramma was "Kitty Gramma" when we were kids.
One of the reasons buying Joy was such a joy is because we planned to take road trips. Well, it only took us a couple years to gear up, but the first trip is DUN!
I am please to announce that the built in table went to good use for our picnic in Celoron, N.Y. Celoron is Lucille Ball's hometown. We ate a few feet from the butt-ugly statue that has caused quite an uproar.
We stayed at Brookside Manor in Fredonia, N.Y. Gramma, Terry, Nyko and I shared a room at this Bed and Breakfast. Most of our time was spent on the veranda.
